Our commitment

The British Rabbit Smallholders Association (BRSA) is committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in everything we do — in our membership, our committee, and our community.

We welcome and support people regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.

What this means in practice

  • Membership is open to anyone who shares our aims and is willing to act in accordance with our values, regardless of background.
  • We aim to make our resources, communications, and events as accessible as possible.
  • We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind within the Association, whether online or in person.
  • We welcome feedback on how we can be more inclusive and will take concerns seriously.

Raising a concern

If you experience or witness behaviour that falls short of this commitment, please contact a member of the Committee. We will treat any concern raised seriously and confidentially, so far as possible.

Review

This policy will be reviewed periodically by the Committee as the Association grows.
